Alexander the great children biography

Alexander the Great had one son, Alexander IV, who is recognized as a true son by historians. However, he apparently had another son named Heracles, whose historical authenticity scholars are not certain.

Alexander IV was Alexander’s son by the Bactrian princess, Roxana.

When Alexander the Great died on the 11th of June, 323 B.C., two more months would pass before Alexander IV was born. As no one knew at the time whether Roxana’s child was a boy or a girl, Alexander’s generals argued about who should be the king’s successor.
